A Message to CP Crew

A Message to the Club Penguin Crew

Response to Invasion Claims (tl;dr – it was all my fault)

Good evening, CP Crew.

I want to take the time to apologize for any confusion that may have arisen surrounding our earlier engagement at the Battle of Zipline. You claimed we were invading your server, but in reality, we were merely raiding you during your invasion of Zipline.

Whatever may have been the case regarding who invaded what, I saw your invasion as an opportunity to raid you, and that was an error on my part. Had I known that raiding an invasion is quite stupid and would cause confusion such as this, I would have forestalled myself from going through with the raid. Unfortunately, I did not know any better.

Again, my deepest apologies for the misunderstanding, and as for the war, may the best army reign victorious.

Battle of Zipline – 1/28/2018

The strength of an army isn’t dependent on it’s size alone. Remember that, Romans.

Today we fought a fierce battle against CPC, Blizzard Warriors, and another army. We fought alongside our wartime ally, HRC, and although our numbers peaked at around 10 (and they perhaps doubled our size at around 20+), we had the better tactics, we met their tactics with great defenses, and we were even able to disrupt their formations. In the end, they retreated thinking the battle was over, while we were still fighting strong. Club Penguin Crew? More like Club Penguin Cowards.

Strength isn’t always about which side has the most people: in a joust between a fighting force of 1,000 weaklings and 100 strongmen, who would win? Good job today, Romans. Consider this our first victory of the war!

War Training Event – 1/27/2018

Today the Romans logged on to Deep Freeze for a special training event. Since we are at war with the Club Penguin Crew, and following the battle at the Stadium failure, we held our first war training event, in which we practiced battle tactics, formations, and quick response time by switching back and forth between our Discord server and CPR.

We started off at the Snow Forts and shortly moved to the Docks, where we held the rest of the event. We first separated into our two branches: Army and Navy, the former lead by Emperor Twitchy543, the latter lead by Ulysses Nardo and myself (with special guest star, Referee and Consul, Antonio960). We then tested our mettle and fought a hard battle of Red vs Blue. We maxed 14 and averaged 12, a step in the right direction following the Stadium battle failure earlier today. In the end, our Navy was victorious, and both sides gained valuable experience. Let’s keep this up Romans and ready ourselves for the next battle!

Some important lessons taught in this battle include:

  • The ability to quickly respond to an order given on Discord
  • Offensive and defensive battle tactics
  • Being able to quickly switch formation at a moment’s notice

Be sure to apply these to future battles!

Battle of Ascent – 1/27/2018

Our war with the Club Penguin Crew has officially begun.

Today, we logged on to Ascent and fought our first battle against the Club Penguin Crew. Unfortunately, due to hasty decisions, among other things, we failed to secure a victory. We were sadly crushed by our enemy today. This post serves to document and inform you all of that and not to upset you, however.

About halfway into their training session, the battle begun when we raided them. However, our strength maxed at about 4 or 5, and only hit 10 when Ulysses Nardo and I logged on. By then, however, the CPC had logged off, claiming victory. Their victory was only further exalted when we weren’t able to defend against the stragglers that stayed behind and continued to attack us. This battle at the Stadium resulted in a major loss for the Romans.

Mistakes are made, Romans, but let us not repeat those mistakes. We may have lost the battle today, but tomorrow, we will win the war! A special training event will be held later tonight as a result of this battle and it’s outcome.

Uganda Knuckles/Da Wae themed Event-1/17/18

Seize the night, Romans- Sorry for the halt of posts Romans but here is another (late) post for you today. ƪ(˘⌣˘)ʃ

Wednesday’s event was, obviously shown in the title, a Uganda Knuckles, aka Da Wae themed. A couple changes were made after the EU event, however.

EU Event: Finding Da Wae to England (title credit to Ulysses for that lol). This event had been hosted on Club Penguin Rewritten on Deep Freeze, Town. We maxed three and then to four Romans, wearing what we had originally planned to wear, Roman helmet, red skin, and red pajamas. However, we were not gaining as many people as we thought we would with themed events. The uniform was then transitioned to ocean blue skin and the free maracas (found in the nightclub). This change had attracted more rouges like we expected it to do. This event was led by Ulysses, Me, and a few by Ray.

US Event: Finding Da Wae to Plymouth (also credited to Ulysses for the title). This event maxed 15! Well done everyone. However, not all who attended were Romans, as we call them ”rouges”. It was very successful and a fantastic event. We began at Deep Freeze town and then eventually went to the coffee shop. The uniform for the US did not have the Roman helmet, making it accessible for rouges to join in on the fun. This was also led by Ray, Ulysses, and me. Rule the Rink Event – 1/9/2018

Blue Romans wave a white flag of surrender to the Red Romans, colorized.

Ave, Romans! Welcome back to the show. It’s your host, Ray.

Today we had an event at Ascent on CP Rewritten. We started off at the Iceberg, and did some tactics and an “arrow” formation. We maxed 7 while there, and averaged 6 when we moved to the Snow Forts for a Red vs. Blue snowball fight. Both sides fought hard, and after heavy fire and bombing from both sides, the Blues retreated to the Ice Rink. After a short-lived engagement, the Blues, lead by Ray, surrendered to the Reds, lead by Elmer. After that, we tooted and shouted that the “Romans rule the Rink!”, signifying the end of the snowball fight and the event. Today’s event was pretty fun, Romans, so let’s keep on striving for greatness!

Yuli’s Training Event – 1/8/2018

Ave, Romans! Ray here, sorry for the delayed post!

On Monday, we had an event at Ascent on CP Rewritten. It was a very short-lived one, since many officers were unable to attend – I myself included. However, it still maxed 5 under Yuli’s command, which was good to see, especially since it was her first time leading all by herself. Well done, Yuli, for leading this event. The event could have gone better though, so let’s keep striving to better ourselves every event, Romans!

U-lead 2 Event – 1/7/2018

Marquis, a Spartan, does a nude protest in favor of his freedom (colorized).

Ave Romans! Ray here, sorry for the delayed post!

On Sunday, we had a U-lead event at Ascent on CP Rewritten, our second U-lead event so far. This event saw the brief return of our beloved Legate, Ulysses. He’s sadly been away recently, but he managed to come back for a short while to help out. Throughout the event, tactics were mostly done by fellow troops, like Ragnar and Juancho. We kept things nice and cool in the beginning at the Iceberg, and did some emoji and word tactics, and then word tactics coupled with formations, such as yelling “We will conquer!” Then, we went to the Town, and did a “4chan raid”-type formation. We maxed 7 and averaged 6 at this event. Let’s keep it up Romans, and keep getting better!
