I’m delighted to announce that I will be leading the new generation of Romans, alongside Rishron and Tax B. I am extremely excited to be a part of this new generation, as Romans are a legendary army, and hopefully we can make this the best generation yet.

Tribute to the Troops Tourney Battle – Results

Today we had a SMAP hunt and kill tourney battle against 9 other armies. We ended up being 2nd, just losing to the Striking Raiders, but it was a good battle overall as we maxed 13 and averaged 11. We could still have done a lot better, though.

Another important announcement is that Verum has been removed from the leadership and we are now brother allies with the Striking Raiders.

UK Practice Battle v WV – Results

Hello Romans,

Today we were supposed to face the Water Vikings in a practice battle. However, they were too small and did not log on. So this was turned into a training instead.

We maxed 12 and averaged 10.

Pretty decent job. The results post was delayed due to Greeny’s deface. Read on for the pictures.

Site is Back!

Hey guys, Yellow1908 here. So after our site was defaced, I was able to bring it back to life. Years ago I made a secret site and I copied all the history pages from the original Romans site(this site). I was able to copy the pages from my copied pages onto this site. After a good 20-30 minutes of hard work, the site has returned to its original state. We still need to edit the ranks a little bit to return them to what we had before the site was defaced. Other than that, we are getting stronger with strength and honor. -Yellow1908

Why I’m going to be Leaving this Army

Before some of you get mad, I ask you to read this entire post.

Hi Romans,

I’m going to be leaving this army, but not because of our mediocre sizes in this generation. Why am I leaving? I’m leaving because I feel that a big portion of our troops do not care about this army, and no matter what effort we put into this army, It’s simply not working. If nobody wishes to help this army alongside with me — and the current owners who indeed do care about this army (Jester, Dj and Tylund) — then I feel that I should not participate anymore.

and as for Cas, you have not done anything so far, and the only effort you seem to put in is CPAC, that goes for you too Dpd/Brady. The ACP were not kidding about you. I would do anything to help this army grow — but I cannot if you guys refuse to come to our chat for events, I can’t help this army if you ignore my PC’s about bringing you to chat for an event. I can’t help this army if our chat is dead 90% of the time. I can’t help this army if people who have joined us abandon us for the armies they were previously in before this army was revived.

Demotions were put in place, and nothing worked. We tried autotyping, and the fact is, there’s barely anybody autotyping with the ownership. Most of the time, It’s just us talking on chat all day, but when I tell you to autotype, some of you are like “brb i gotta eat dinner”. Yes, I know that you guys have lives.. but don’t you think that’s a bit frustrating and strange when that moment occurs the minute you tell somebody to autotype?

The point is, I cannot be in an army with this kind of atmosphere where people refuse to help this army and not enough care is given to it. If you are mad at me for this, then why don’t you try leading this army? I must admit however, through all this, we still managed to max 30 and average 15-20+ in most of our events, and we managed to get 6th in the top ten, tying with the Nachos. Believe me, if we did something instead of being lazy, then I would stay until the end.

If I have disappointed you, Dj, then I apologize, I still love the Romans, but if this army refuses to cooperate then I’m going to take my leave.

Invasion of Big Snow Results

This was arguably one of our best events this week. We maxed 30 on Club Penguin and averaged 23-25. That’s VERY impressive, especially for an army that was just revived less than a week ago. Now, we await our top ten spot ;)
