DEEP FREEZE, FOB Leatherneck — Foothold established in the UMA Empire

Today, our forces have successfully secured the UMA server of Deep Freeze, a historically Roman server. More after the break.

At roughly 1700 PST, our first wave made landfall at the beach, encountering light enemy resistance from Viking Alliance (as Savagecobra has been spotted calling their group) forces.

The fighting on beaches didn’t last long, as our forces quickly pushed through and moved to the Ice Berg.

Roman and Viking Alliance forces continued to flood in as the battle heated up. The Viking Alliance, despite their best efforts, were unable to match our sizes or tactics. The battle began to turn in our favor, with us maxing thirteen at this point.

At this point, the battle had been waging on for over an hour, with no sign of it ending any time soon. Troop morale and motivation remained high, but the battle slowly began to wear down on our brave soldiers.

However, a wave of RPF reinforcements landed to back our invasion forces. Though now vastly outnumbered, our enemy fought on, and the battle continued.

By the point that Roman victory was declared, the battle had long passed the two hour mark. The combined Roman/RPF force had maxed 25+, holding the clear advantage over the DKE and their allies. Deep Freeze, once a very important server to the Romans and our British counterpart, the GPR, was ours once more.

This victory was hard fought, and I am very proud of all of you who fought your hearts out to make it happen. Tomorrow, we will retake Blizzard, and Beanie the next day.
